ATTIVITÀ DI RICERCA
L’attività del Centro di Ricerca su Imaging Cardiovascolare Multimodale Integrato è principalmente rivolta allo studio del valore diagnostico e prognostico aggiunto delle nuove tecnologie di imaging cardiovascolare non invasivo, valore diagnostico e prognostico del cateterismo destro a riposo e da sforzo nella diagnostica delle dispnee, applicazioni dell’intelligenza artificiale all’imaging cardiovascolare, utilizzo di tecniche di realtà artificiale e realtà estesa per aumentare la capacità diagnostica dell’imaging cardiovascolare noninvasivo, valutazione storia naturale e markers prognostici nei pazienti con cardiopatie valvolari, ricerca dei predittori di morte cardiaca improvvisa in pazienti con cardiopatia strutturale, valutazione della funzione ventricolare destra, valutazione e significato prognostico della funzione degli atri.
Il Centro di Ricerca su Imaging Cardiovascolare Multimodale funge inoltre da core-lab ecocardiografico per studi clinici organizzati da Auxologico o commissionati dall’industria e da altre Istituzioni scientifiche.
Il Centro di Ricerca su Imaging Cardiovascolare Multimodale collabora attivamente con l’industria ed ha formali contratti di ricerca con GE Healthcare (Horten, Norvegia), Philips Medical Systems (Andover, MA, USA), EsaOte SpA (Genova Italia), TomTec Imaging Systems (Unterschleissen, Germania).
