Personalized one-on-one training in advanced echocardiography with dedicated expert tutor
THE ECHOCARDIOGRAPHIC LABORATORY
4 dedicated scanning rooms (GE E 95, Philips CRX) + 1 reporting room.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION
- Observing echocardiographic studies conducted by the lab's echocardiographers from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. These studies will include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as speckle - tracking echocardiography of the four cardiac chambers, 3D assessment of the left and right ventricles, and valve morphology.
- Observing the reporting of the day's echocardiographic studies and participating in case discussions with the responsible echocardiographer .
- Guided acquisition of 2D and 3D echocardiographic datasets (only available to attendees with a valid medical license approved in Italy) .
- Access to our electronic database containing over 30.000 echocardiographic studies for conducting quantitative analyses under the tutor’s guidance .
- Attending the weekly clinical and research echo meeting, which takes place on Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.

REGISTRATION FEES
500 € + VAT for one week; 1500 € + VAT for one month.
The registration fee includes lunch tickets at our hospital cafeteria.
The training dates will be agreed upon between the Director of the echocardiographic laboratory (Prof. Luigi Badano) and the registrant to avoid overlap among attendees.
